Idaho State Police Investigate Fatal Crash in Canyon County
Fatality Crash Involving Three Vehicles
One Fatality and One Injured in Intersection Collision
The Idaho State Police are conducting an investigation into a three-vehicle fatality crash that occurred on Friday at approximately 7:58 a.m. The crash took place at the intersection of Ustick Road and Farmway Road in Canyon County, near Caldwell.
According to preliminary reports, an 80-year-old Caldwell man driving a 2012 Jeep Cherokee was traveling westbound on Farmway Road when he collided with two other vehicles. A 52-year-old Caldwell man driving a Hyundai Accent was pronounced dead at the scene. Another driver, a 62-year-old woman from Nampa driving a Kia Sorrento, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The intersection was closed for several hours while the Idaho State Police investigated the crash. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
